When the Stampin’ UP! Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog came out in December there was a new product – Gilded Leafing Embellishment, a beautiful pot containing delicate and wispy pieces of a gold colored foil – which was bright and sparkly and I just love bright and sparkly!

I am working on a series of posts and videos sharing various designs and techniques for using this wonderful product – today shows a piece of gilded card which has been dry embossed …… stunning!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pretty Peacock Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Coastal Cabana Card
• Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Coastal Cabana

I have used the Seabed 3D embossing folder with one of the ribbons from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack. The greeting is from the Oval Occasions Stamp Set with the coordinating Double Oval Punch, nothing else is needed as the embossed gilding is center-stage.

This version uses the Painted Texture Embossing folder with another of the ribbons from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack, with the same stamp set and punch.
