I love to design my cards but there are times when I kinda draw a blank, either nothing comes to mind or too much comes to mind and I feel a bit overwhelmed. The Stampin’ UP! catalogs show us all the wonderful products available but did you know it is also a book of ideas? In fact when I first came across Stampin’ UP! in 2006 it was called an ‘Idea Book’ (and I still have that catalog in my stash!)

All that being said – I found today’s card tucked into those pages, I changed it a tiny bit (of course) but it is very close 🙂

Center-Step Card with Prized Peony Suite ~ Video Tutorial

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I so love fancy/fun fold cards, even after nearly 10 years as a demonstrator I still am in awe on what you can do with a piece of card stock!! Center-Step cards have been around for a considerable while but I think it is always nice to dust it off and update it with new colors and products.

The Peony Garden Suite of products have been very popular since its release in June, I have used the 3D peony as the as my focal point and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Card.

Prized Peony ~ Watercoloring with a Twist Video Tutorial

Welcome back to my corner of the world

A little technique that came to me the other day as a happy accident, I love to do water coloring but I had stamped my image in the  water-based Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I could have re-stamped it but I hate waste, so found and empty Water Painter (formally Aqua Painter) filled it with some Isopropanol Alchohol and used my that to ‘watercolor’ my stamped peony.  I had such fun with it I decided to share with a video.

I used the Prized Peony Stamp Set which has stunning images of peonies as well as some greetings in a beautiful script, always a favorite of mine!
