Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!

This month’s theme is to share what you are working on ~ I have been working with some of the new products from the Aug – Dec 2020 Mini Catalog and mixing them with some from the 2020 -2021 Annual Catalog and I have come up with a sepia peony theme.

Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Soft Suede Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 4 7/8 x 4 Brushed Metallic Cardstock

Layer 2: 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 Fluid 100 WaterColor Paper

Ink Color : Soft Suede

So I have a bit of a collection of techniques going on here, starting with a Water Painter to put a Soft Suede ink wash onto Watercolor Paper. I left it to dry thoroughly before using the Prized Peony Stamp set to stamp the peony in full strength ink, then masked off my flower to add the leaves. (check here for masking technique)

The little background pattern was added by ‘stamping off’ before putting onto the card. (Check here for the stamping off technique) Then back to the Water Painter to add some extra ink to the flower. I find it best to attach Watercolor Paper to the Metallic Card with the double-sided Tear & Tape.

The greeting is cut using the Label Me Fancy Punch then a cute little bow using the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
