Welcome to my Corner of the World

I have used the Forever Fern Stamp Set such a lot – I love those leaves and there are some lovely greetings to go along with them. Today I have paired it with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Decorative Paper, which itself has lots of leafy designs that work well with the stamps.

The ‘to a friend that makes me smile’ greeting is just so lovely – it can work for a birthday, thinking of you, get well or just because card – it just covers a host of different occasions.

Like the last couple of months I have chosen to use a 8 x 6 page, I really enjoyed making that size, sometimes a 12 x 12 page can be a little overwhelming so this size makes a great alternative…………………… plus I was able to use the Basic Black 6 x 8 Album with the coordinating Photo Pocket Pages again.

Blueberry Pie ~ party favors

I always think blue, silver and white as New Year colors ~ not exclusively though, as I also have a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments in those colors.

I wanted to make some party favours for New Year and decided to use an idea of Connie Stewart’s from Simply Simple Stamping to make them in the shape of a slice of pie,and since I was using different shades of blue I have dubbed it ‘blueberry pie’  Continue reading →
