Painted Harvest Hedgehogs

I just love hedgehogs – they remind me of my childhood when we would find them in the garden and put out bread soaked in milk!  Well, we all now know that this is NOT good for them at all and a little dog or cat food would have been far more suitable!

Thoughts and Prayers ~ Stampin’ UP!

Sympathy cards are the one type of card that we would really not have to make but they are probably the ones that bring the most comfort to the recipient ~ they know someone is thinking of them at a difficult time in their life.

The Thoughts and Prayers stamp set is a one  to have in your stash, not only is it suitable for bereavement it also has some lovely sentiments for get well and thinking of you…. and what can I say about the two images – one the most elegant tree and the other a lovely ‘swooshy’ flowery branch – which I have used on an anniversary card before. Have been a little bit quiet over the last few days, I had a Christmas/Holiday card Stamp Camp on Friday and Saturday – I spent most of Thursday preparing for it which included  tying a bunch of ribbon bows!…. and completely forgot to write something for my blog.

I’m back………………..

Tax season is over, I’m back at my work bench and normal service is about to resume!!!!!

I apologize for not posting very much in the last 5 – 6 weeks, been very busy helping the nation file their taxes ( did not actually get ours filed until late on the night of the 14th ~ bit too close for my liking, prefer to get them done by mid-March!)

But while  I have not had time to post I have had some time to make and have some things to share with you over the coming days………………

Stamp Set of the Month to the rescue

You cannot always get notice of the need for a card, so having some ‘cards to hand’ is always a good thing.  We had a bereavement in my husband’s family, as we live so far away, we will not be able to attend the services but at least we can let them know we are  thinking of them.

Last July’s stamp set of the month was Flowering Flourishes and  I made a  series of cards which did not have any sentiment so could be used for most any occasion.
