Although this stamp set retired at the end of March I wanted to share one last card made with it. I just love the combination of Crumb Cake and Petal Pink, the soft and wispy images from the Calming Camellia Stamp Set are a perfect match for this vintage inspired thinking of you card
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 4 1/4 x 3 3/4 Petal Pink Card
- Layer 2: 4 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
- Ink Color: Soft Suede and Crumb Cake
I started by stamping the base card with Soft Suede ink and the swirly stamp, then used the lighter Crumb Cake ink to stamp onto the Very Vanilla layer, adding the swirls in the darker Soft Suede. Sponging the edges with a Sponge Dauber gives it more of a vintage look.
I stamped the greeting on scrap of Petal Pink Card then cut it out with the Layering Circle Dies, adding one of the same size cut from Crumb Cake Card to the back, with a little sponging with Crumb Cake ink. My bow uses the Petal Pink 5/8 Organdy Striped Ribbon, it is this ribbon that made me fall in love with Petal Pink in the first place – it will be retiring in the next few weeks, so check out the link below to add it to your next order 🙂
