Shadow Box Card

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
For the August Card Crafting Class I made a shadow box card using ‘By the Tide’ stamp set in blues and other masculine colors (see post from August 16th). I decided to work on a feminine version using the stamp sets Feels Good, Flower Shop and Express Yourself. The card stock is Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla and the inks included Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive.  The fold was courtesy of Connie Stewart and the cutout in the middle was done using the 2 1/2 circle punch and the flowers used the new Pansy Punch. I am thrilled with the result and will send it to my sister-in-law (in the UK) for her birthday later this month.
All the products I used are from Stampin’ Up and are available from my on-line store. Let me know if you would like some instructions – I will be happy to send them if you comment on this post and follow my blog 🙂

This is gorgeous – I love the colors and the unique fold. It is definitely a show-stopper card – I’m sure your SIL will appreciate it. I’d love the instructions if you can send them. I’m already a follower of your blog via Feedly.
