Girl Scout Cookie Card

Those of you who have been following my blog regularly will know I love punch art.  The Girl Scout cookie season has just come to an end and it reminded me of  a project I did for last years’ cookie season.  I was asked by a local troupe of Girl Scouts if I would help them work toward getting their ‘Arts and Crafts’ patch and their leader thought it would be a great idea for them to make thank-you cards featuring a cookie…. this is what I came up with…..

The card base was Stampin’ Up’s Garden Green card stock layered with Whisper White and Daffodil Delight.  The cookies were made using the Extra Large Oval Punch.  The chocolate chips were made from chocolate chip card stock (what else?)  and the Itty Bitty Shapes Pack punches.  The sentiment was taken from the Lacy & Lovely Stamp Set and punch out with the Scalloped Oval.  I used ‘My Digital Studio’ (Stampin Up’s own software) to create the troop number before punching with the Word Window punch. The design was completed with a bow from Daffodil Delight seam binding.

I enjoyed my morning with the Girl Scouts and was honored that the work I did with them warranted the award of a patch 🙂
