We spend a lot of time thinking of the right gift to buy for that particular occasion in the family or friends lives, we go shopping, we choose and we wrap, but sometimes the humble gift tag gets overlooked!
I spent a little time playing around with some Designer Series Paper, stamps, ink and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and came up with three fun tags which would give your gift that final flourish.
The Tag Topper punch makes the finishing of these tags very easy by shaping the top and punching the hole for the piece of twine or ribbon. I used the Geometrical Stamp set and Kaleidoscope DSP from Stampin’ Up’s Celebrate the Everyday mini catalog……. and those cute little arrows, chevrons and hearts – well they are Essentials Wooden Elements and can be found on page 18 of the mini catalog. These can be stamped on, spritzed and sponged, A simple glue dot will stick them securly to your project.
It also occured to me that once the gift is given and appreciated the gift tag could also make a very useful book-mark!
Just by chance my dear friend, Joanne gave us an Easter goodie bag, it was full of candy as well as this delightful little twosome………..
Both of which were made using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, aren’t they just the cutest thing?
