I really like the technique used on these cards, I made 3, each for a slightly different occasion, birthday, anniversary and a thank you…….. but I think it worked well for each of them.
The colors used for the blue card are, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Always Artichoke and So Saffron for the flower center. For the pink version I used Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi, with So Saffron for the flower center. (The markers are available in sets of each color family or as a complete set of 48 with a super carry case to keep them in) Contact me for more information on my Marker ‘Share’.
The stamp is called Hey there Buds, it is a single stamp available from Stampin’ Up! I used the Stampin Write markers to pick out each part of the flower spray.
Using the brush end I carefully colored the petals and leaves, it takes a few moments but the effect is well worth the effort!. Just before I put the stamp on my card I ‘huffed’ on the inked surface a couple of times to just reactivate the ink, then pressed firmly and ‘viola’ I have a great center image for my cards.
The two blue cards are using Coastal Cabana card bases cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, the pink card uses Very Vanilla with the same measurements. Layers are:
5 1/4 x 4 in Whisper White or Very Vanilla, dry embosssed using the Big Shot and the Decorative Dots Embossing folder.
The image layer is 3 x 3 and the layer immediately below is 3 1/2 x 3/12 in Pool Party for the blue card and Wild Wasabi for the pink version.
An appropriate sentiment was stamped in one of the colors from the card and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I was pleased with the final result and hope that you enjoyed seeing them.

Beautiful cards! Did you add a bit of dazzling diamonds or something to give it the little ‘glitz’?
