Now that Labor Day has passed and we officially entered ‘Fall’ on Monday evening, I figure it is safe to start talking about the upcoming Holiday season!
I have a number of events over the coming months which will focus on holiday themes but one of the exciting events I look forward to are the Holiday Craft Fairs or Bazaars.
Over the last 3 years I have had booths at several and had a whole variety of handmade gifts in cardstock, fabric and in some cases metal. I usually start planning in the late summer, deciding what to make and then to start work on them. So this is the first of my ‘products for this year:
Each of these decorated boxes contains 6 tealights, I made some in traditional red, green and gold and the another batch in the more contemporary blue, green and silver. My inspiration came from Pootles (a UK demonstrator) although I had to rework the dimensions to fit the tealights I had chosen to use. These will make a great hostess, teacher/co-worker appreciation gift…. or maybe for your hairdresser, or dental office, or barista………….. anyone you would just like to acknowledge and say ‘thank you’ to.
I would be happy to send you the instructions (along with the source of my tealights) if you ‘like’ and leave me a comment here.
I will be posting some more of my projects over the coming weeks so if you don’t want to miss out on my ‘news’ then simply go-ahead and subscribe to my blog – the link is up there on the right, just below my ‘mug’ shot.
Take care and Happy Stamping 🙂
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
I would love the directions for the box of tealights.
