One Tag Fits All ~ Baby Congratulations

Don’t get to make too many ‘New Baby’ cards, so when my husband asked me to make one for a co-worker who had just had their first baby I was a bit of a loss as I don’t really have much in the way of baby themed stamp sets.  A closer look at my stamp shelf revealed ‘One Tag Fits All’ and it had the perfect stamp for my card.

I made two!!! Basically the same except for the position of the ribbon.

new baby 1

Base card: Soft Sky cut 11 x 5 1/2  scored @ 5 1/2

Layer: Tempting Turquoise cut  4 1/4 x 2 1/2, embossed with Large Polka Dot embossing folder with the Big Shot

Inks: Tempting Turquoise and Black Memento Ink

I stamped the ducks onto some Whisper White card then colored them with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Markers  before cutting them out with 1″ circle punch.  These were then layered onto 1 1/4 ” circle in Tempting Turquoise with Snail adhesive and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals

The sentiment is from the ‘Something to Say’ stamp set, cut out with the Word Window Punch, then layered onto the ‘bow’ part of the ‘Bow Builder Punch’ and finally layered onto 1 1/4″ circle of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

A length of Soft Sky Seam binding was wound around the Tempting Turquoise layer before it was stuck down to the base then the bow was attached with a glue dot.

I hope you enjoyed this one – let me know your thoughts below …………
