Every month I have a beautiful bunch of customers who come to my classes and order Stampin’ Up! products from me. I am very grateful for their support and enthusiasm and like to show that as often as I can. This usually take the form of a card but has also included book marks, decorated candy bars, treat boxes etc. This past May it was a card……………………
Two stamp sets were used for this one, Beautiful Bunch and Kinda Eclectic
Base card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Tempting Turquoise, scored at 4 1/4
Layer : 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White
Ink Colors: So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Tempting Turquoise.
The ‘sun’ and leaves were stamped directly onto the Whisper White layer, then the flower stamped onto a spare piece of whisper white, once with the full flower and then a second time on a scrap of whisper white just to get the very middle of the flower.
The full flower is punched with the Fun Flower punch and the flower middle with 1/2 inch circle punch. An additional flower is cut from Tempting Turquoise card and the edges of both it and the stamped flower sponged in the Tempting Turquoise ink ~ it gives it a little more depth and character I think.
The two flowers are layered with a glue dot and a dimensional used to attach a piece of silver glimmer paper punched with 7/8 scalloped circle, then a glue dot to attached the flower center. I prefer to use glue dots or dimensionals with glimmer paper rather than snail adhesive or liquid glue – I find that the thickness of the glimmer paper just needs a little extra help!
The flower is attached to the card with a Stampin’ dimensional and it is done!!!
Oh except for the little ‘Thanks a Bunch’ greeting which came from Sprinkles of Life stamp set.
Here are the main supplies used:
Happy Stamping 🙂
