Stampin’ Up!’s Stamp Set ‘ Sassy Salutations has been available for a couple of years and it has been on my wish list for that long, but for some reason it has never made it into my shopping basket! When I saw it was in the latest 2015 ~ 2016 catalog I knew it was a sign and this time it was one of the first stamp sets on my order!
I made this as a Thank You to my lovely ladies who joined in my BOGO sale last month – the only stamping on it is the Thank You, the rest is all cutting and punch work!
Card Base : 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Island Indigo ~ scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1: 3 x 4 Bohemian DSP
Layer 2: 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2 ” Very Vanilla, cut with the Tiny Wave Rotary Cutting Blade for the Stampin Trimmer, which gives a very pretty finished edge to the layer.
Layer 3: the flowery shape is cut from Bermuda Bay card using the middle die from the Floral Frames Collection Framelits and the Big Shot, then run thru the Big Shot a second time with the Decorative Dots embossing folder to give it some texture.
The ink is Delightful Dijon ~ one of the new In-colors.
Those tiny little flowers were cut using the new Tree Builder Punch, which has a flower tucked in there with the apple and bird etc!!!
The loopy threads are from deconstructed White 1 1/4″ Jute Ribbon, I cut about a 12″ length of ribbon then simply trimmed off the edge allowing me to pull threads which I looped around my fingers and attached to the back of the greeting with a few glue dots.
This is one of the batches ready to go!
Here are the main supplies used:
Happy Stamping 🙂
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
Can I turn in my BOGO order sometime this month? Gwyn
