This is the sixth and final card in my mini series using the Sassy Salutations stamp set, which has 6 different greetings in a really zany font.
I saved this one for last as it is the ‘Merry Christmas’ greeting and while it is really hard to think about Christmas when it is hovering around the 100 degree mark outside – the time will just fly by……. in fact I have already started to think about my Christmas Card Classes – not too much thinking……..but I have started!!!!
This time I have paired up with the Festival of Trees Stamp Set. This was the Stamp Set of the Month virtual class in November 2014 and is very versatile.
Card Base : 11 x 5 1/4 ~ Extra Thick Whisper White card, scored @ 5 1/2 (just love this new card ~ perfect weight for card bases)
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 1/4~ Real Red, cut with the ‘Tiny Wave’ Rotary Cutting Blade and the Rotary Addition for the Stampin’ Trimmer.
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 ~ Whisper White (regular weight card) again cut with the ‘Tiny Wave” blade.
Mossy Meadow Ink was used for the greeting, Old Olive for the right hand tree and Pear Pizzazz for the left hand tree
The center tree uses Silver Foil Sheet and Tree Punch, then run thru the Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder before being attached to the card with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
While the real red layer was attached with Snail Adhesive the white layer was popped up on 4 -5 Stampin Dimensionals.
A little silver ribbon across the top corner to complete the card.
So that completes my mini series showcasing the very versatile ‘Sassy Salutations’ stamp set. I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards…let me know your thoughts in the comments below…….. 🙂
