Time for another guy birthday card, this one is very straightforward and features decorative paper as the focal point and it cut at an angle to give it a little more interest.

The greeting is from the Tag Talk stamp set which has a matching punch which makes it perfect. Any stamp set with a matching punch is perfect in my book!
Card Base : 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ Smoky Slate scored @ 4 1/4
Designer Series Paper : 4 x 5 ~ cut at an angle so one of the long sides measures 5″ and the 2 1/2″ (this pebble paper is from a paper stack that retired back in June but it makes such a perfect guy card I could not resist using it)
The strip of card at the join between the card base and paper is 1/2″ wide, I attached it to the paper with Snail adhesive before attaching it to the card – this allowed me to trim the ends at the same angle as the paper.
Ink is Lost Lagoon, this is backed onto a 2″ circle of the same card and adhered with Stampin Dimensionals.
A few Neutrals candy dots completed the card.
Here are the main supplies used: (just click on the item and it will take you straight to my on-line store)
Happy Stamping 🙂
