This is a fun card which uses the Party Pop-Up Thinlet Dies from Stampin’ Up! They are in the Occasions Catalog which is due to retire on May 31st (but the good news is……………… it has been included in the new 2016 – 2017 Annual catalog, which goes live June 1st!.
I made the card for my youngest grand-daughter’s 1st birthday, but liked it so much I also offered it to my card crafting ladies in April’s class.
These are a great products – you get both dies and they can be used to make the pop-up inside the card as well as an embellishment for the front of the card.
Both of these cards have the same construction ~ I have simply switched the die for the inside. As I have used pinks, yellows and blue’s this card would work perfectly for a boy or a girl.

Here is the alternative die:
After embossing the front layer, I gently sponged with the ink before dotting all over with the fine tip glue pen and sprinkling liberally with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter……………… well if you can’t have glitter on a birthday card – when can you have it!!
