Shaving Cream Technique

Toward the middle of May I had a technique class which was very popular with all the ladies who joined.  While I was preparing for the class I used a number of different color combinations which I promised to share.

Each of the card have the same measurements and construction, only the ink colors changed and the color of the ribbon on the bow!

The first combination used Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party ink refills.

I chose Sahara Sand as the base for all the cards – it is a great neutral and worked perfectly for every one of the color combinations I tried.

Card Base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Sahara Sand ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White

Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Sahara Sand

Layer 3: 4 x 2 1/2 Whisper White

Soft Suede ink was used on the greeting layered with Bermuda Bay card behind to give it a little ‘pop’

….. and here is the video!

Different pallet  of blues ~ Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Soft Sky, the accent color on the greeting is Marina Mist Card
