Double Slider Birthday Card ~ Stampin’ Up! Products

We’ve 4 granddaughters, all of whom live with their parents in the UK so we don’t get to see them as much as we would like.

Granddaughter # 2 celebrated her 5th birthday in October and I thought the  “Fairy Celebration’ stamp set would be perfect for her card.

The double slider card is such fun to make and is really impressive when you receive it and it fits in a regular 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 envelope for mailing.

The base card is in Blushing Bride with Smoky Slate and Whisper White layers.  The fairy was stamped in Smoky Slate ink then colored in with Stampin’ Markers and a blender pen.  The picture does not show it very well but the fairy has clear Wink of Stella on her wings and dress.

Here is the inside ~

The greeting comes from the Birthday Blooms stamp set ~ I just love typeset and find myself using it quite a lot just for that reason.

I hope you like today’s card – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title
