Advent Calendar – Countdown to Christmas ~ Day 19

Throughout December I have been sharing a square from the advent calendar  my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed back in early October,  using a 24 cup mini muffin pan.

You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one!  Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!

Each of the squares start with a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch base with 4 little magnets stuck to the back with glue dots.  The primary colors are  Real Red, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. Ink Colors included those above, plus two neutrals of  Tip Top Taupe and Early Expresso.

This square reminds me of when we were children and used to make paper chains  to decorate the classroom at school as well as our bedrooms ready for Christmas!

The banner and greeting comes from the Tin of Tags Stamp set and both were stamped in Real Red Ink.  The Duet Banner Punch was used to cut both the star banner and the Gold Foil background.
