Flip over calendar ~ November

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Last year I had such fun sharing my flip over calendar at the start of each month that I have decided to do the same for my 2022 calendar. This was designed for a stamp camp in November 2021, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2022.

So today I share, November’s Pumpkin and Leaves – in the rich, jewel colors of autumn.

Flip over calendar ~ December Christmas Decoration

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Well here we are – December 1st and the final page of the flip over calendar for 2021. If you are a regular follower of my blog you will know that in the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another for 2022 – well that class is scheduled for this coming Saturday and Tuesday – all the design is done and supplies are cut!.

I have loved sharing each page at the start of each month and am seriously thinking of doing the same for the 2022 calendar. So today I share, December with Christmas lights and a tree ornament – very festive!

In the Wild Leafy Thank You Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I am getting very good at using my Designer Series Paper ~ I have shared in the past how much I love the decorative paper that Stampin’ UP offers and that I have a tendency to ‘save it’ rather than use it.

Today’s card uses some of the ‘In the Wild’ DSP which features tigers and leopards, but if you flip them over there are some lovely botanical and geometric designs which I chose to use, with just a simple greeting and a couple of punched leaves. I also used the Sweet Strawberry Bundle but there is not strawberry in sight!

Heat Embossed Air Ship Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know I struggle with cards for the fellas in our lives! So when I opened the Stampin UP! Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog and saw the Soar Confidently Stamp set I knew it had to be on my wish list, it has the most perfect guy type images with an airship, hot air balloon and a biplane, along with some super images great for birthdays and father’s day.

I have used the airship on today’s card and stepped it up by heat embossing the image with gold.

Elegant Happy Christmas Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Today is Christmas Eve – as my great- niece would be telling her Daddy today ‘ one more sleep until Father Christmas gets here’. I am spending my day with final preparation for tomorrow’s lunch and then settling down in front of the fire to watch some Christmas movies!

They say that less is more ~ not entirely sure I agree with that when it comes to card making but today I used a ready made card base from the Gold Cards and Envelopes Pack. It is Very Vanilla and has gold foil decoration on it, so that was my color choices decided, then a little dash of red to finish off! And, you know it was surprisingly quick to create all of the 10 cards that were in the pack!

Welcome to the  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  we are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from Alison’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month are theme is ‘Shapes’  ~ this was a challenge for me and as a result my page is very simple.

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice

‘Tis the Season Gift Tags

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Gift Tags are the one things I always seem to forget to either buy or make and have a last minute dash in the last few days of gift wrapping. I know we are only a third of the way thru October but I decided I might as well start early and tuck them away for a few weeks. (Keeping fingers crossed that I will remember where I put them!)

These are two very simple designs using the pretty and versitile ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper along with the perfectly aptly named Tag Buffet Stamp Set.

Power of Hope, Oriental Style Heat Embossed Card

Welcome back to my corner of the world

When I saw the Power of Hope Bundle ~  one of the FREE Sale-a-bration gifts I just knew that I had to create today’s card. The bundle has the Power of Hope Stamp Set and the Stone 3D embossing folder and they really compliment one another. (see below how you can get this bundle for free)

The stamp set has a very strong oriental theme so, black and red are the perfect color combination with some beautiful gold embossing.
