Hershey’s Nuggets…….. mmmmm!

I love to take candy (sweets) and make them into something a little bit special.  I have been decorating Hershey’s Nuggets for several years now – giving them as thank you’s and selling them at craft fairs in the run up to Christmas.  They are very quick and easy to do, taking just a few supplies……. and you can use them for just about any occasion you can think of.  The ones I am sharing today were for a July 4th dinner we were invited to a couple of weeks ago.

Tray: 2 x 3 1/4  Night of Navy card ~ scored @ 1/4″ on each of the long sides

Topper: 3 x 2 ~ Real Red card ~ scored @ 1 1/2 ” along the 3″ side

Wraps for Nuggets : 3″ x 1″ Designer Series Paper of your choice

The 8 x 2 cello bags from Stampin’ Up! are just perfect to packaging up these treats.

If you want to put more candies in then the little tray will need to be longer, I found the following worked well:

6 Nuggets ~ cut tray 6 x 2 1/4  and score as above

8 Nuggets ~ cut tray 8 1/4 x 2 and score as above

I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title.
