This time next week we will be celebrating Christmas Day 2017 so time to share a Christmas Card. While Reds and Greens are traditional colors for the season I like to also use some more contemporary colors as well, so today Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz are my featured colors for this card.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pool Party Card
Layer 2: 5 x 4 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz
The Colorful Season’s stamp set covers all the seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn, I used the 2 snowflake stamps to create the front layer, stamping the largest snowflake first then infilled with the smaller one.
Using the Large Letters Framelits and the Big Shot I cut the NOEL. I recommend using the Magnetic Platform to prevent the letters from moving.
The Pool Party layer is adhered to the Whisper White Layer with some multi-purpose glue, then small pieces of Foam Adhesive strip attached to each of the letters which are then lined up and attached to the card front. A little twist of 1/8 silver ribbon and a generous scattering of rhinestones and we have a very pretty Christmas card.
I always decorate my envelopes, you can just see it peeking out from beneath the card. Did you know that Stampin’ Up! has envelopes that have a polished surface so stamped images look absolutely fantastic, I have put a link below so you can order some to try yourself!
