I have shared a number of cards using the very popular Eclipse technique – typically it uses letters but it does take a little time to assemble. Using a punch makes a very quick and simple way to create this lovely 3D effect.

I cannot tell you how much I love the Painted Harvest Stamp set – I find my hand hovering over it when starting a card, I have forced myself to give the other, equally beautiful, stamp sets a chance to star but today I gave in and picked Painted Harvest to create another Eclipse Card, using the rich palatte of purples in Stampin’ UP!’s color family.

Christmas is behind us for another year 😦 but I hope everyone had a good day!
There are folks who have birthday’s around the weeks before and after Christmas, my maternal Grandmother’s birthday was actually born on Christmas Day ~ she would have celebrated her 109th birthday this year. and it was her wedding anniversary as well, I think they married in 1929! Over the last few months I have been using the Alphabet Framelit Dies for a lot of projects for my classes and for my recent 1 day Stampin’ Getaway projects.
This is a set with 37 pieces, 26 letters and 11 punctuation marks and symbols, perfect for making banners. pennants as well as the very popular Eclipse Technique – I shall be sharing some cards using this technique in later posts 🙂
