Sweet and Simple ~ Picture Perfect Birthday

I have set myself a little challenge ~  to make a card every week to 10 days, using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal.  Then you find the basics such as stock, herbs and spices etc are ‘pantry’ items and it turns out that the meal was made with a whole host of ‘hidden’ stuff we did not know about.

So the ‘pantry items’ for my challenge are going to be, adhesive, Stampin Trimmer, Bone folder and Paper-Piercing tool.  I am going to attempt to create  with 1 stamp set and some ink pads, 1 embellishment (other than paper or card)  and one additional tool, probably a punch.  Wish me luck!

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pool Party Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1:  5 1/4 x 4 Picture Perfect Party DSP

Banner 1 : 4 x 2 Silver Glimmer Paper

Banner 2 : 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 Whisper White Card

Ink Color: Soft Sky

The Picture Perfect Paper did all the hard work for me on this card, I trimmed the 6 x 6 piece down then used the reverse side of one of the trimmings inside the card – you can just see it peeping out in the picture.  The stamp set is also from the Picture Perfect Party suite from the 2018 Occasions catalog – called Picture Perfect Birthday, I used the sprinkle stamp from the set to decorate the envelope.

My tool for this card is the Banner Triple Punch and the embellishment are the Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins.  So I think I have achieved my challenge with this one!
