Time for Tea with Daffodil Delight ~ Stampin’ UP!

The Tea Room Suite on page 15 of the 2018 -2019 Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog plays right into my soft spot…………  I am a tea drinker, preferably made in a pot using loose leaves and with milk – not lemon and  no sugar.  I will compromise and use a tea bag as long as it is Orange Pekoe or Assam but am not taken with some of the fancy ones out there like licorice, peppermint, beet!

So back to the  Tea Room Suite – my card today uses 4 of the goodies, the Time for Tea Stamp Set, the coordinating Spot of Tea Framelit Dies, the DSP and Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack,  I just cannot resist the little die that cuts out the teacup and saucer!

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Daffodil Delight Card ~ scored @ 1 1/2 and 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper

Ink Colors:  Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight

You need to fold along the score lines so the finished card is a kind of ‘off-set’ Z

My inspiration for the card was from Connie Stewart – I changed out the colors to pick out another of the combinations in the Tea Room Specialty DSP.  You need to take a look at this gorgeous paper, it is quite lightweight and you get 24 sheets in a pack.  If you took part in my recent DSP share you will find you could make 4 of this style card out of 1 piece of 6 x 6 paper.

A length of the  Very Vanilla Tea Room Ribbon is wound around the card and attached with a couple of mini glue dots – the join is under the greeting, a little knot of ribbon and some pearls and we are done.
