We are just coming up to the end of the first month for the 2018 Holiday Catalog, I am not sure if you are ready to start your Christmas cards just yet but the Joyous Noel Suite on pages 28 and 29 is a really good place to start.  A lovely stamp set, decorative paper, embellishments, glimmer paper and the cute Sprig Punch.

Today’s card uses 4 of these new goodies in traditional Christmas/Holiday colors and a slightly ‘untraditional’ fold.

Card base: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Shaded Spruce Card 

Layer 1: 10 3/4 x 3 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 5 1/4 with the longer of the two sides runs thru the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Layer 2:  5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card.

Ink Colors: Shaded Spruce and Merry Merlot

The front of the card only covers a portion of the back – not sure what you would call the fold but it is just a little unusual. The Peaceful Noel Stamp set has small stamps designed for 2-step stamping, although I used them a decorative elements on this card.

All three glimmer papers are part of the Joyous Noel 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper pack – you get 8 sheets of each which really goes a long way.  The were cut with the Sprig Punch – if you are a follower of my blog you will know that I love punches and it is one of the first things I look for every time a new catalog comes out!

And finally, that Merry Merlot & Copper Ribbon – you will see that my dear husband (he takes all my photographs!)   managed to show the glitter of the copper thread perfectly – it is one of the most beautiful ribbons I think we have ever had!
