I just wanted to reach out to all my lovely readers to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving – although both my husband and I are from the UK we have both embraced the annual tradition here in the US of looking inwardly and being thankful for the things in your life.
I am grateful for health, family and friends, both those who I know personally and those I who I know virtually – thank you for following me and choosing me to shop for your Stampin’ UP! products.
Today I am sharing another card using the Shimmer Paint Resist Technique – this time using the Bright Copper Shimmer Paint with the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set…………….. enjoy!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra Thick Very Vanilla Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 4 7/8 x 2 1/8 Copper Foil Sheet
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 2 Glossy White Card
Layer 3: 2 1/8 x 1 5/8 Copper Foil Sheet
Layer 4: 2 x 1 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Soft Suede, Versamark and Copper Shimmer Paint
I broke out the Copper Embossing Powder, along with my heat gun to create the greeting; added a bow made from the 3 1/6 Braided Linen Trim and topped it all of with one of the Leaf Trinkets, both attached with a mini glue dot ~ very autumnal and perfect for Thanksgiving Day
