Where did January go? Here we are on February 2nd and Valentine’s Day just around the corner. I think it is time for one of my sweet and simple cards – where I use one stamp set, some card, ink, 1 tool and an embellishment. #simplestamping
I chose to use the Meant to Be Stamp set today, it has such pretty, decorative hearts allowing me to randomly stamp to create my card front.
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Cherry Cobbler Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Blushing Bride Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride
After stamping the Very Vanilla layer I attached it to the Blushing Bride layer, then added a length of the Vanilla ribbon from Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack, before attaching it to the card base with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.
I have a video on how I make my faux knots – click here to see that
The greeting is also from the same stamp set, stamped on Very Vanilla Card with Cherry Cobbler ink then cut with the Tailored Tag Punch. This too, was attached with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals.
I am really happy with this one 🙂
