I had a few of my team celebrate their Stampin’ UP! anniversary in March and I like to acknowledge their achievement and thank them for being part of my Corner of the World!
The Touches of Texture Stamp Set has been a firm favorite – for a start off it has flowers in it and lots of different parts so you can build up the flower(s) you want. Secondly it also has some ‘texture’ stamps to fill in any spaces.
Sad to say this set is retiring at the end of May – so if it is one you have been thinking about getting now is the time to do it, there is a link to my on-line store a little further down this page.
Card base: 11 x 4 1/2 Calypso Coral Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Calypso Coral Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz
I stamped the stem/leaves first then added the flowers, dragonfly and the ‘dotty’ texture in the bottom right hand corner. The ‘amazing’ is cut from Pear Pizzazz card using the Celebrate You Thinlets which I attached with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (soon to retire so get some in your stash right now!)

The whisper white layer is adhered to the calypso coral layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then this attached to base card with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals. The little knot of 1/8 Calypso Coral Sheer ribbon is attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
