We are in the last couple of weeks for the Stampin UP! 2018 – 2019 annual catalog which means that stamp sets and other products will be retiring and there are some of my favorites among them. So I am going to use my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.
Today’s card uses 2 stamp sets, unusual for me I know, but they are both retiring and both deserve being showcased, Friendly Expressions and Stylish Christmas – but it is not a Christmas Card!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Scraps of Whisper White, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay Card for embellishments
Ink Colors: Bermuda Bay
I used the swirly stamp from Stylish Christmas directly onto the card base and added a few Clear Rhinestones onto each of the swirls. A 2 1/4 Circle of Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana card is attached with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The greeting is from Friendly Expressions, also cut with the 2 1/4 Circle punch and popped up on 2 – 3 Stampin Dimensionals. The ribbon retired last year – but I forgot about that but the 1/4″ mini stripped ribbon in Bermuda Bay would be a great alternative.
