Every month I make a card for everyone who has shopped with me – leaving it blank so they can reuse it themselves – this is the card for my January ladies, using the Friendly Expressions Stamp Set,
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Grapefruit Grove Card
Layer 2: 3 x 3 Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper ~ you can get 4 cards from one sheet of paper!!
Ink Colors: Gray Granite
It is a very simple card to make, I stamped the greeting first, then used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to attach lavers 1 and 2 together before attaching it to the base card with 4 Stampin Dimensionals.
I used the Daisy Punch to cut out two flowers and used a little of the liquid adhesive to stick them together offsetting the petals to get a fuller flower. As I had used the Grapefruit Grove card I could not resist using a little of the Grapefruit Grove Foil from the Sale-a-bration catalog (which I got for FREE with a $50 purchase of their yummy products!) cut with the Itty Blooms Punch Pack, a final twist of coordinating 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon attached with a Mini Glue Dot and I am done ~ such a fresh looking card.
