It is still a few weeks before Father’s Day – but if we want to be ready we really need to start now. Today I am sharing a decorated gift box that would take a number of small gifts, although I have filled mine with Hershey’s nuggets as I know my dear ol’ Pops would have really appreciated chocolate!
The Classic Garage Suite is perfect for this gift box, it has the wonderful Classic Garage DSP, some Metallic Ribbon to go along with the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set with coordinating Garage Gears Thinlets Dies (still available at a 10% discount bundle price until end of May!)
Did you know the Stampin’ UP! have a number of different ideas for gift packaging? For today’s gift I chose to use the Mini Pizza Box ~ you get 8 boxes in a pack – so enough to make one for all the menfolk in your life!
Layer 1: 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 Classic Garage DSP
Banner: 3 3 /8 x 3/4 Classic Garage DSP
The set of ‘gears’ is also cut from some of the DSP with the Garage Gears Thinlets Dies and the Big Shot
Scrap of Smoky Slate Card for the greeting
Ink Colors: Smoky Slate
The DSP pieces are all attached to the box with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then the Black/Silver 1/4 Striped Metallic Ribbon with a few Mini Glue Dots to hold it in place. The greeting also uses one of the dies from the same die set, attached with a 2 – 3 Stampin Dimensionals.
