Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop, we are group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.
You will have either arrived from Colleen’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME. This month’s theme is Goodbye ~ as we’re coming to the end of the 2018 – 2019 Annual catalog we are saying good bye to stamp sets, some lovely colors and papers so let’s get creative and use our favorites this month!!
Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.
I chose to use the retiring All that You Are stamp set along with some heat embossing and coloring with some Stampin’ Blends.
My base is Pear Pizzazz 12 x 12 card, along with a 6 x 6 panel of one of the Vellums from the retiring Floral Romance Specialty DSP, I placed a piece of Very Vanilla Card beneath it so the beautiful design shows through even more.
The piece in the bottom left-hand corner is for my journaling when I decide the pictures I will add to the page. I also heat embossed this and as Fresh Fig is a retiring IN-Color, and one of the colors in the design of the Vellum I have found a little place to add some of that as well.
The flower is heat embossed with gold embossing powder then colored with Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive Stampin Blends. I tore the edges off the card then roughed up and sponged with some Crumb Cake ink to give more of shabby chic feel, partly because I wanted to introduce some of the ribbons that are also retiring. The 1/2 Lace Trim, 5/8 Polka Dot Very Vanilla Tulle Ribbon and 3/8 mini ruffled Fresh Fig ribbon which I carefully unraveled to create a sort of ‘tassle’
I used a couple of embellishments that I am thrilled to say will be in the new Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog, Frosted Flower Embellishments and the Floral Romance Seals – just a stunning finish to my page.
