So the 4th new In-color I have chosen to share is Terracotta Tile and as the other day with the Pretty Peacock I have been experimenting with other colors in the Stampin’ UP! family. Petal Pink and Cajun Craze work really well together with Terracotta Tile.
I have also showcased one of the new ribbons and embellishments, both of which will be part of my ribbon and embellishment shares in the coming weeks…………. so watch this space!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Terracotta Tile Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Banner: 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 Petal Pink Card
Layer 1: 3 x 3 Cajun Craze Card
Layer 2: 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Terracotta Tile and Cajun Craze.
Floral Essence is another great stamp set with images and greetings in a ‘pretty’ script. I used the leaf image to stamp my card base tone-on-tone with Terracotta Tile ink before attaching the Petal Pink banner with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The greeting is in Cajun Craze ink which I stamped first then added the flower, the larger stamp was inked in Terracotta Tile, ‘stamped off’ on a piece of scrap paper then stamped onto my Very Vanilla layer without re-inking. The smaller flower was stamped using full strength ink ~ this is a technique known as ‘2 step stampin’ and gives you the lovely variation in color from the same ink pad!!
A trio of the in-color Faceted Dots and a luscious bow with the 5/8 Petal Pink Organdy Stripped Ribbon…… just love it!
