Seaside Spray is the 5th and final of the 2019 – 2021 In-colors . The Floral Essence stamp Set is featured again – it is such a lovely set and those of you who know me also know that I just love flowers, so this is one that will be used an awful lot in the coming months!
I have also showcased the coordinating ribbon and embellishments for this color, both will be part of my ribbon and embellishment shares in the coming weeks…………. so watch this space!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Seaside Spray Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Crumb Cake Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake
Again I used the ‘stamping off’ technique where I inked the stamp then stamped off on a piece of scrap paper then stamped onto my Whisper White layer without re-inking. The smaller flower was stamped using full strength ink ~ this is a technique known as ‘2 step stampin’ and gives you the lovely variation in color from the same ink pad!!
I chose to pair the Seaside Spray with Crumb Cake because I wanted to share the coordinating ribbon which has both colors on it – so it blends in well. The greeting is from the Darling Label Punch Box cut with a 13/8″ Scalloped Circle Punch and layered onto a scrap of Seaside Spray cut with 1 1/2 Circle Punch.
A trio of the in-color Faceted Dots, one of each size randomly scattered around to finish off. So there you have it – all 5 colors, all very beautiful I know you will want to have in your stash. There is time to participate in my Ink and Paper share – just click here for more details.
