Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop, we are group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.
You will have either arrived from Shirley’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME. This month we were given a free-hand with our design ~ Artistic Licence ~ I have focused on the Noble Peacock Suite using one set of dies and the sumptuous Nobel Peacock Specialty Designer Paper and Rhinestones
Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.
My base is Smoky Slate then added two matted sections, the largest is 7 x 7 Whisper White Card layered onto 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 Blueberry Bushel Card on which I plan to add 3 – 4 smallish photographs. The smaller one is 3 7/8 x 1 1/2 Whisper White card layered onto 4 x 1 5/8 Blueberry Bushes Card where I will do a little journaling when I have chosen my pictures.
My embellishments are made with the Nobel Peacock Specialty Designer Paper and the Detailed Peacock Dies. I cut 4 peacock tails from the Blueberry Bush Paper then the leaf sprigs and feathers from the Old Olive Paper. This paper is a foil with a tone-on-tone pattern added and is just stunning when it catches the light.
All pieces are attached to the base using tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesives ~ as I was cleaning up the little pieces I could not bring myself to throw some of them away as they have some really fancy little curly bits which I simply scattered in the empty spaces before adding a few of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s page – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little box at the end of this post.
