Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Melissa’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is using products from the Holiday Catalog – known in some parts of the world as the Autumn/Winter Catalog
I have chosen to use some of the Monster Bash Suite – the Wonderfully Wicked Bundle, Monster Bash DSP and Monster Bash Enamel Shapes.
Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pumpkin Pie Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic Black Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 So Saffron Card
Layer 3: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic Black Card
Layer 4: 3 1/2 x 3 1/4 Monster Bash DSP
Ink Color : Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
I wound a little Silver Metallic Thread randomly around my top panel to give it the impression of a spider web, then lavished my die-cut ‘Wicked’ with Wink of Stella. The little black dots are from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes
What you cannot see is I used some of the new Black Stampin Dimensionals ~ each pack contains two sheets of large dimensionals and 2 sheets of Mini ones – at total of 680 for just $6( US) – such a great deal and so useful for use with darker card colors.
When I moved from the UK to the US in 2001 Halloween was not a particularly popular holiday in the UK but I knew it was in the US. We arrived in Texas on October 24th – just a few days before Halloween, we lived in an apartment for a few weeks while we were waiting for the purchase of our house to be finalized. I stocked up on plenty of sweeties (candy) even bought a little cauldron to put them in for handing out! Well I waited and waited and not a single person knocked on the door to ‘Trick and Treat” I was sooooo disappointed plus Brian and I had a bunch of chocolate we needed to eat! Things have changed over the years and we do get lots of littlies visiting us…. and I still have my little cauldron 🙂
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link at the top of this post.
