With the holiday season coming on us quickly, now might be the time to get some thank you cards made ready sending out after Christmas. With today’s card I have pulled out the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set with the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch, and paired the soft subtleness of Purple Posy with the rich jewel tone of Blackberry Bliss.
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Purple Posy Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Purple Posy Card ~ run thru big shot with Country Floral Embossing Folder
Greeting Banner: 3 1/4 x 1 Whisper White Card layered onto 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 Blackberry Bliss Card
Ink Colors: Granite Gray
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to attach layer 1 to the card base, then a few Mini Stampin Dimensionals to attach the banner and butterflies. I used a pearl to hide the Mini Glue Dots I used to attach the Vellum Card butterfly to the Blackberry Bliss one.
A simple card but it has a lot of impact, I think it is a card that would work for any occasion, just change out the greeting!
