Welcome back to my corner of the world

Sympathy cards are not really the ones we want to send but they do give huge comfort to the family.  Today’s card has a sympathy greeting but the design would work for any other occasion such as a birthday or thank you.

I chose the Pop of Petals and Kindness and Compassion stamp sets for this card as the Pop of Petals set is all images without any greetings.

Card base:  11 X 4 1/4 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 So Saffron Card run thru the big shot with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder

Layer 2: 4 x 3 Night of Navy Card

Layer 3: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors: Night of Navy and So Saffron

As I usually do,  I stamped the greeting first – this ensures I have enough room and I know where to stamp the dotty  stamp in So Saffron then the leaves in Night of Navy.    The flowers are cut using the Four Petal Flower Punch then attached with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals. 

I think Navy Blue and Yellow is one of my favorite color combinations and works very well for this design,
