Welcome back to my corner of the world

Just a couple of weeks away from Valentine’s day so today I have the perfect card for that special day – I was playing with some color combinations and really did not know which I preferred so I have included both in today’s post.  It just occurred to me that you could use this for an anniversary card, wouldn’t that be pretty?

I have chosen the Heartfelt Bundle which has the Heartfelt Stamp set and 2… yes ….2 coordinating punches! I played with some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with Rhinestones Basic Jewels and some of the pretty Scalloped Lace with Pearl Basic Jewels working thru which combination I preferred most.  I have to say though, I ended up liking them both 🙂

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Rococo Rose Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Cherry Cobbler or Pool Party Card

Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card

Scraps of Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Rococo Rose and Pool Party Card

Ink Colors: Rococo Rose, Crumb Cake and Pool Party

I used a little Fine Tip Glue to adhere the Dazzling Diamonds to the Pool Party heart and popped the hearts up on Stampin’ Dimensionals
