Welcome back to my corner of the world

The Peaceful Poppies Suite is one of the most popular in the 2020 Mini catalog.  It has 2 stamp sets, 2 die sets, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and Embellishments – all coordinating to make your crafting fun.

I chose to use the Poppy Moments Dies for this card – no stamping just letting the dies and embossing do all the work.

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card run thru the big shot with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder

Layer 2: 3 3/8  x 2 5/8 Blushing Bride Card

Layer 3: 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card

Layer 4: 3 1/8 x 2 3/8 Merry Merlot Card

The photo is having some weird effects on the colors today – yep that really is Merry Merlot although it looks more like Melon Mambo to be honest!!!

I ran layer 4 the big shot with one of the dies which gives a kind of fretwork effect, I attached it to layer 3 with some Mini Stampin Dimensionals to give more depth to the beautiful design.

The leaves are cut from Blushing Bride Card and Champagne Foil, I could not resist using one of the Best Dressed Tassels and a small bow from 3/8 Scalloped Lace Trim just to give a little more of a vintage look.
