Welcome back to my corner of the world

At the beginning of June we will have a new annual catalog!  One of the suites within it is now available for early release ~ starting today!  The Ornate Garden Suite is just stunning, with 2 stamp sets, 2 sets of dies, a 3D Embossing folder. DSP, ribbon combo pack and Gilded Gems.

I decided to just use one of the products with today’s card the Ornate Border’s Dies and to use a really vibrant combination of Highland Heather and Melon Mambo!

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Highland Heather Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Melon Mambo Card

Scraps of Whisper White and Highland Heather

Ink Colors: Highland Heather

I used some tiny dots of Multipurpose Adhesive to attach the die cut piece, then Mini Glue Dots to attach the flowers. The ribbon is the 1/4 Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding that I colored with some Highland Heather ink and a Stampin Sponge – I have a video coming up next week to explain how I did that!

My greeting is an inspirational one from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set – a really useful set to have in your stash!  I am having a bit of a love affair with the Noble Peacock Rhinestones at the moment – the purple ones were just perfect for this color combination.
