Welcome back to my corner of the world

Today’s card was inspired by a color challenge, I am always looking for ways of using all the lovely colors in Stampin’ UP!’s huge range and the 3 we had to work with for this project were an interesting combination.

I used the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set for my greeting but the main feature of my card uses the Ornate Borders Dies, which creates a stunning feature.  This is the Ornate Thanks Bundle which is an early release from the 2020 – 2021 Annual catalog coming in early June.  I also used a couple of products that will be retiring at the end of May, the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon.

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4  Calypso Coral Card

Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card run thru  die cutting machine with Ornate Borders Dies

Ink Colors:  Old Olive

To complete the challenge I added a Daffodil Delight 1/4 Ruched Ribbon bow attached with a Mini Glue Dot. Click here to see how I make my bows!
