Oh my gosh – Magenta Madness certainly packs some WOW factor!  I have to say that I was a bit doubtful of using all this color for my card today, don’t get me wrong – I love the color  – but have paired it with Smoky Slate to give a bit of  neutral support.

The Forever Fern Stamp Set has been so very popular since its debut at the beginning of June, it is part of the Forever Greenery Suite which invokes thoughts of lush greens – but I have taken the liberty of using Magenta Madness – ‘cos not all leaves have to be green, do they?

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Magenta Madness Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White Card run thru embossing/cutting machine with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder

Layer 2: 4 5/8 x 2 1/4 Smoky Slate Card

Ink Colors: Magenta Madness and Smoky Slate

I used the new Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to cut out my leaf and berry images and attached them to a piece of Smoky Slate card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I can already tell that this new punch is going to be a firm favorite of mine, look out for some more samples in the future!

A length of the coordinating 1/4″ ribbon and I am done, unusually for me…. no bling!!!  Check here to see how I tie my ribbons
