The simply beautiful Field of Flowers Stamp Set makes it easy to give your friends and loved ones hand-stamped cards featuring a summer meadow in bloom and watch their faces light up!

I have used Terracotta Tile but you could swap out for any color for the recipient’s favorite, lets face it Stampin’ UP! has plenty to choose from!

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 4 x 2 3/4 Terracotta Tile Card

Layer 2: 3 7/8 x 2 3/8 Whisper White Card

Ink Colors: Pear Pizzazz and Terracotta Tile

I stamped the flower stems first, taking care to leave some space for my greetings, then the flower heads and finally the greetings.  The grass stems are stamped directly onto the card base before attaching the ‘flower’ panel piece.

The ribbon started with the 1/4 Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ,  I took a piece of Stampin’ Sponge and the Terracotta Tile Ink pad and colored a length by stroking the ink onto both side of the ribbon.  It looks a bit patchy at first but as it dries the color becomes more uniform.
