Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop, we are group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.
You will have either arrived from Jo’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME. This month are theme is ‘Travel’ ~ well in the current situation this is defiantly a bit of a challenge – but here goes ……
I will admit I was struggling with this one as I don’t have any stamp sets etc that are ‘travel’ themed. I was seeking inspiration and my eye fell on one of the sheets of 12 x 12 in the World of Good Designer Series Paper which has a map of the US and Canada…. and there it was – Alaska!

My husband retired at the end of 2017 – it was not until August 2019 that we finally got to do the retirement trip we promised ourselves, an Alaskan Cruise. Two of the 3 places we visited are clearly marked on the DSP, so I simply used the entire sheet and simply added a few embellishments ~ I had to guess a little on the position of Ketchikan though!
The banner is made using Gold Foil and the Playful Alphabet Dies, to make it easy to attach the letters I used the new Adhesive Sheets. The Tailored Tag Punch was used for the journal patches and the Detailed Trio Punch to do a little corner rounding. Our different destinations are highlighted with a gold Metallic Pearl.
