Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop working with Vellum

Welcome to my corner of the World

Once again  I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop,  we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!

You will have either arrived from Gez’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is to share what you are working on~ so I have been working with Vellum Cardstock.

Card Base: 81/2 x 5 1/2 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Vellum Cardstock ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Greenery Embossing Folder

Strip of Very Vanilla ~ 1/2 x 5 1/2 run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder

Ink Color : Merry Merlot

One of the ladies who comes to my card classes asked for some ideas for using vellum cardstock and I wanted to show her how it can be easily embosses to give such a soft and pretty effect. Vellum cardstock is translucent so your adhesive will show thru – with this card I attached the vellum with some Stampin’ Seal just on the left hand side, then added the embossed strip of Very Vanilla Card to hide the adhesive. This means only a small part of the vellum is attached but I think it adds to the delicateness of the card.

A tiny amount of stampin’ with the Lovely You Stamp Set with the greeting cut with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link  at the top of this post.
