I have shared a number of cards using the Prized Peony Stamp set, today I share how great the images are for coloring with Stampin’ Blends and used the coordinating Peony Dies to cut my flowers and leaves as well as to add a very feminine scalloped edge to one of the layers.

The greetings in this stamp set cover sympathy, love and thanks, friendship and ‘thoughts’ ~ all very useful ones to have in your stash!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
• Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 Sahara Sand Card
• Ink Color: Memento Tuxedo Black

I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the peonies and leaves onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card. I broke out my Stampin’ Blends to color them, Light/Dark Old Olive for the leaves, Light//Dark Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight for my flowers.

I don’t mind fussy cutting the flower pieces but having some dies certainly makes the job a little easier, they are attached to the card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals to give them a bit of a ‘pop’.

A final scattering of Elegant Faceted Gems to give some very subtle sparkle!
