Welcome to my Corner of the World
Here we go with another of my ‘scrap’ cards ~ made with some left over pieces of Tis the Season designer series paper from another project. I cannot bear to waste these pieces and if I set them aside for ‘later’ they just accumulate – so I have got into the habit of using them straightaway!
I have used Christmas themed products from the 2020 August – December mini catalog to create a birthday card, it would be perfect for anytime but especially if you need a December birthday card!

- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Very Vanilla Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Cherry Cobbler Card
- The sizes of the layers depended on the side of the scraps, I simply cut the matting layers 1/8 inch larger then the scraps
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 1 ’tis the Season DSP
- Layer 3: 2 1/2 x 2 DSP layered onto 2 5/8 x 2 1/8 Garden Green Card
- Layer 4: 2 1/2 x 2 DSP layered onto 2 5/8 x 2 1/8 Very Vanilla Card
- Ink Color: Cherry Cobbler
Now I can hear a few groans with the ‘1/8 ‘ measurements, but using the Stampin” UP! paper cutter it is really very easy.
Layers 1 and 2 are attached with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and layer 4 is attached with 4 Stampin Dimensionals. The ribbon is the 3/8 Embroidered Ribbon then a scattering of Wonderful Gems to add a little bling.
The greeting is from the Seaside Notions Stamp Set, but you can use one you might have in your stash OR use a Christmas Greeting…. why not?
